    Each university has its own criteria, but common requirements include:

        English proficiency test (Certificate of English as a Medium of Instruction, IELTS) for English programs

    1.) Submit Applications

    • Apply Online or use the services of and Education Agent such as MATES.

    Many scholarships are available, including:

    • Global Korea Scholarship (GKS) – Full tuition, airfare, living expenses

    • Private & Government Grants – Some organizations sponsor students

    To study in Korea, you need a D-2 visa. Requirements include:

      • Admission letter from a Korean university
      • Financial proof (bank statement or sponsor letter)
      • Visa application & processing fee
      • Health insurance proof
    • Tuition: $3,000 – $6,000 per semester (depends on the university)
    • Dormitory: $300 – $800 per month
    • Food: $300 – $500 per month
    • Transportation: $50 – $100 per month
    • Miscellaneous: $100 – $300 per month

    As an international student, you can work part-time (max 25 hours/week during semesters and unlimited during vacations). You’ll need to:

    How to get a Visa?
    1. Ordinary Tourist (C-3-9)
      • Purpose: Plans to visit Korea on the purpose of travel for holidays or leisure.
      • Duration: Periods of stay will be granted for up to 90 days for a single-entry visa , and 30 days for a double-entry visa.
      • Eligibility: Demonstrate that you have sufficient funds and that you do not intend to stay in South Korea.
    2. Korean Language Trainee (D-4-1)
      • Purpose: Plans to study Korean language at an institution in Korea.
      • Duration: Periods of stay for this visa will be granted initially for up to 6 months.
      • Eligibility: A person with at least senior high school diploma or the equivalent and not older than 25.
    3. Bachelor’s Degree (D-2-2)
      • Purpose: Plans to enroll for education of bachelor’s degree at an academic research institute, or a community college or above.
      • Duration: Periods of stay for this visa will be granted initially for up to 2 years.
      • Eligibility: You must have sufficient funds and be a senior high school graduate.
    4. Master’s Degree (D-2-3)
      • Purpose: Plans to enroll for education of master’s degree at a community college or above.
      • Duration: Periods of stay for this visa will be granted initially for up to 2 years.
      • Eligibility: Meets the financial requirement and is a bachelor’s degree holder.
    5. Doctoral Degree (D-2-4)
      • Purpose:Plans to enroll for education of doctoral degree at an academic research institute, or a community college or above.
      • Duration: Periods of stay for this visa will be granted initially for up to 2 years.
      • Eligibility: You must hold a master’s degree and have sufficient funds to support yourself.
    6. Job Seeker (D-10-1)
      • Purpose: Plans to engage in a training or find a job.
      • Duration: Periods of stay for this visa will be granted initially for up to 6 months.
      • Eligibility: You hold a bachelor’s degree or higher, or have completed a research program in Korea within the past three years.
    7. Dependent Family (F-3-1)
      • Purpose: Family members of students, general trainees, job seekers, and similar categories.
      • Duration: Periods of stay for this visa will be granted initially for up to 1 year.
      • Eligibility: A spouse or an unmarried minor child of a Student (D-1), a General Trainee (D-4), Job Seeker (D-10), etc.
